"Sam sets are professional and he wants to get the most out of his actors. He likes to give them tasks and figures out a way to get into their head, He knows the actor’s capabilities and wants their best work to come out. I appreciate Sam for letting the crew and actors do their job and Sam doesn’t have any ego, he’s very friendly and enthusiastic on set. He will ask for long takes and a bunch of them, which was very different from me as a DP since I haven’t worked with a director like that because of time management and have to keep moving forward. I would recommend Sam because he cares about the story, he gets really into it and figures out a way to enhance the scene more. People can relate to his writing and can get the audience attention emotionally. If I had to tell someone who is considering hiring Sam is they’re going to have a director who cares about the project and is going to out the actors/crew to work."
