"My time on set with Sam was wonderful! He is really an actor's director. I love how communicative Sam is on set. He gives you a run down of how the day will look and keeps everyone in the loop of where we're going. I've been on sets where you really have no idea what is going on and the stress of not knowing what's happening or where you need to be adds to the pressure of the day, but on Sam's set I was at ease. He is so organized and man does he come with a plethora of props and set dressings. It's amazing to me the amount of attention to detail Sam gives when he has 101 other things he has to keep track of.

As an actor, I was so appreciative of how he approached directing each actor. Once the legist of blocking were out of the way Sam talked to me about my motive and character. He posed questions to me at a higher level than I anticipated. It made me feel like he really dug into my character just as extensively as I did. The way he directs leaves you with a feel that no choice that you made was wrong. When he did have a new directive, his communication was very concise and understandable. He also gave us the opportunity to just play, do a few takes with a fun motivation in mind. And his encouragement after each take makes the environment feel like home.

Sam is someone I'd highly, highly recommend!! You can see and feel the love he has for a project. It's amazing the amount of energy and care Same put's into his work. Above and beyond!"
